What if I want to quit my job?
No student under CCI sponsorship is permitted to leave their employment without the prior permission of CCI. This is why it is so important to read and totally understand your job offer, prior to acceptance. Permission to leave your job will be granted by CCI on a case-by-case basis. The decision will factor in:
If you discussed with CCI your reasons for leaving your job PRIOR to leaving your job.
If you gave your employer at least 2 weeks notice before your last day.
If you have a new job waiting for you and have a new job offer and budget sheet ready to send to CCI.
What your reason for leaving your job is.
If you have an outstanding debt with your employer or housing authority.
