Sevgili arkadaşlar sizden bir ricamız olacak ABD'ye giden yada gitmeyi düşünen tüm öğrenci arkadaşlarımızın desteğine ihtiyacımız var!2012 work and travel programı ile ilgili yapılan son değişkliklerle ilgili bazı işler yasaklandı.Bu işleri önceden seçen ve seçmeye devam eden öğrenciler mayıs ayı içinde mağdur oldu.Bazı girişimlerde bulunarak işverenleri harekete geçirdik ve şuan için Amerikan Hükümetinin geri adım atması an meselesi ama iş verenleri yalnız bırakamayız ve kendilerine destek olmak zorundayız.Aşağıda hazırladığım mektubu bazı işverenlere okuttum ve beğendiler.Masraf yapan öğrenci arkadaşlarımız,şirketler,patronlar mağdur olmasın diye aşağıda yazan maili de sizler Department of State'e lütfen gönderiniz..Mail adresleri aşağıda lütfen ya aşağıda yazılan maili yada kendi görüşünüzü ekleyerek VE kendi isminizi,belki işinizi ve programa dair diğer görüşlerinizi de ekleyerek revize edip aşağıdaki mail ile benzer sonuçlar çıkaracak mailinizi yetkili mercilere iletin ve tüm arkadaşlarınızıdan destek isteyiniz.HAYDİ ARKADAŞLAR BU KADAR ÖĞRENCİNİN MAĞDUR OLMASINA İZİN VERMEYELİM...

LETTER FOR SWT STUDENTS
Dear,U.S Department of State
I am a student from Turkey,my name is Mustafa.
First of all I need to start my letter with global communication evolution.We can contact with all around the world with Televison,Radio,Newspaper,Internet(Facebook,Twitte r,Google.etc.) from so many years .What does it mean? We can watch so many countries,foreign people,beauties of the world if we want.Communication is new global unlimited treasury of the world.We need to use this important thing to know and meet with people from side of the world to another side.
Why? Because if the people see each other face to face ,eating together in a restaurant,working together and then we can break our prejudice to give peace to all around the world.It means most of people will be friend because of Cultural Exchange Programs(J-1 Visa) and peace will born from all these programs in future.I believe this because I have been participants of this program three(3) times and it came out from my heart after I had attended Summer Work and Travel Program in Ohio when I was working in fairs.
But we heard about The U.S. Department of State recently released Interim Final Rules which contain many changes and clarifications regulating the J-1 VISA Summer Work and Travel program. It's directly stated in the regulations that "positions with traveling fairs or itinerant concessionaires are also now prohibited due to health and safety concerns associated with a nomadic lifestyle as well as the resulting difficulty in tracking the locations of such participants in SEVIS."
We have been shocked after this new regulation and its reasons.Because we have really important answers about this new regulation.
1. Fairs are really American Cultur Business and it is coming from years ago and it is really different business for European people and Work and Travel Program is Cultural Program and it is wonderfull chance to learn real U.S Cultur because real U.S Cultur lives in fairs and in this industry.
2.Seasonal or temporary business is first rule of SWT program and this industry is real seasonal and Provides opportunities for regular communication and interaction with U.S. citizens and allows participants to experience U.S. culture.We can not taste and live real U.S culture in New York City , we just can see so many people and buildings with expensive life and you can see this in China ,too. I hope that I explained clearly what purpose of my letter.
3.Safe and Health is real problem of the world and I am a student of Medical College in Turkey.I think everybody knows that Dr.OZ is also a wonderful Turkish American Medical doctor.He says important things about health, I hope you have read his some books contain that he tries to explain natural life keeps people more younger and healthy than live in crowded cities. So do you think fairs are not healthy as much as New York City? I will not give any example about safe diffirences between Harlem NY , Texas and County fairs.I havent seen any fights yet in fairgrounds.
4.If this industry has any negative advantages which we forgot,you are all can make consultation each other with all industry's employers.However we believe that solution is not try to stop students working chances in fairs.If someone has any crash on the highway , can we try to stop people use car anymore.? I dont think so!
AFTER ALL THIS OUR ANSWERS
We hope the U.S Department of State will reverse something about this J-1 visa regulation to make all students and employers happy .
